With the rumble this weekend there are rumors and speculations of who would be entering the men’s and women’s 30 person match. Some of the rumors may be flawed due to the idea most of them are under contract with other promotions or have had past issues with the company.

However, if there is any promotion who can make things happen, it’s WWE. Below are the entrants that would receive the greatest crowd reaction in this weekend’s battle royal.

#4 Ricochet

Ricochet could be ready for a call-up

Following his match with Johnny Gargano, Ricochet appeared in the ring along with Aleister Black and Velveteen Dream to greet the fans at the end of NXT Taker Over Phoenix.

The high flying superstar is one of the most requested call-ups from fans who would love to see dream matches including him along with the likes of AJ Styles, Finn Balor, and Rey Mysterio.

With Triple H now having a voice within the main roster, fans don't have to worry about him limiting his skills in the ring.

Now that Ricochet isn't the champion, this usually signals that there is a call up happening for the Superstar.

Ricochet is known mostly in the indies when he began his career in Insanity Pro Wrestling in 2006 and worked his way up to the likes of New Japan Pro Wrestling and Lucha Underground before signing with WWE in 2018.

#3 Velveteen Dream

Velveteen Dream

Could the Dream make an appearance at the Rumble?

The former Tough Enough contestant and current NXT performer have made an impact with his time with the company. His match against Ricochet was one of the most watched matches from NXT.

With Dream not included on the card at Takeover this weekend, it’s easy to believe that he may be making an entrance in the Royal Rumble.

Being included in the rumble, even though he’s yet to capture the NXT championship, can still serve as a catapult for him to make it to the main roster, hopefully, Smackdown Live.

He's gotten a lot of attention with his Hollywood Hulk Hogan attire and another pair of tights that said: "Call me up Vince."

With his current star power, that may become a possibility in the near future. Most likely after his participation in the next NXT event a he is one of 15 men in the worlds collide match.

#2 Abyss

Abyss

Abyss can team up with likes of Bray Wyatt

TNA Wrestling is basically on the verge of collapse and most of their top stars have made their way to WWE including Eric Young, Bobby Rude, Bobby Lashley, Ethan Carter III, and even James Storm was in NXT.

With the promotion lacking dark characters since the Undertaker is limited in the ring, Mick Foley is retired, and Kane is now a mayor, Abyss would fill that void.

Abyss was offered a contract to come to the WWE before but his loyalty to Impact was far too great for any offer.

But as the viewerships sink in relation to other promotions such as New Japan Pro Wrestling and Ring of Honor, maybe it’s time for him to make that jump to an even bigger promotion.

As mentioned early, with him filling the void of the dark and menacing character, he will be able to flourish in the promotion, even if he teams with the likes of Bray Wyatt depending on his new character.

#1 Kenny Omega

Kenny Omega

Omega is the hottest property in the world of wrestling at the moment

The most speculated wrestler to make an appearance is the man himself. Omega is currently under contract with NJPW until the end of the month, leaving that one week that conflicts with an appearance with the company.

However, if WWE really wanted to, they would buy out the remaining week of his contract and include him in the match.

Even after his contract expires, it’s not fully sure if he will sign with AEW instead, but to be included in the rumble, just for that one time, would help the brand by showing it’s fans it has access to the stars they want which can lead to dream matches down the road.

The closest ties that Omega has to the WWE is his video game feud with New Day member Xavier Woods.

In a post-Street Fighter V promo, he mentions that someday they would work together, but it is still yet to be certain. How cool would it be if Woods and Omega faced off in the rumble?
