What's the story?
Vignettes showing the arrival of Lars Sullivan to the main roster have been airing for a while now. It is still not clear which brand he will eventually debut on.
According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter (as reported by Wrestling Inc.), Sullivan is in line for a major push. It is still not known when the NXT superstar will make his way to the main roster.
In case you didn't know...
Lars Sullivan has been the resident monster of the NXT roster for a while now. He even challenged Aleister Black for the NXT Championship at NXT TakeOver: Chicago II, but was unsuccessful in winning the title.
Currently, he seems to be in a feud with another big man, Keith Lee. Vignettes for Lars Sullivan's debut have been airing since Survivor Series, but it's not known which brand he'll be sent to. But it does seem like big things could be in store for the man.
The heart of the matter
As compared to NXT, where a lot of the smaller superstars get pushed, the main roster is home to the giants, especially RAW. Lars Sullivan has a look and physique that Vince McMahon is known to like and rumours indicate that he could be in line for a push.
As of right now, no major program has been booked for the powerhouse yet. But the rumour does indicate that the push is supposed to be 'significant'. This is also clear from the frequency of the vignettes that have been airing for Lars Sullivan.
A lot of other times NXT superstars just show up in front of a raucous crowd. In Sullivan's case, he's been afforded a proper build.
