What's the story?

It seems that Shawn Michaels might not just be making a Raw appearance to discuss the upcoming Super Show-Down match between Triple H and Undertaker and might actually be involved in some way when the titans clash for the last time down under.

In case you didn't know...

Michaels hasn't made too many onscreen appearances since the Undertaker retired him at WrestleMania, with those brief appearances all being in a refereeing capacity. The last time we saw Shawn Michaels in the black and white stripes was in an NXT Title match between Adam Cole and Drew McIntyre

The heart of the matter

The last time Michaels was the referee for a clash between Undertaker and Triple H was during a Hell in a Cell match at WrestleMania 28, but it seems that Michaels might once again be set to place himself directly in between the two longtime rivals.

Wrestlinginc.com reports that Michaels might even announce his special involvement in the Super Show-Down match during his appearance on the upcoming Monday Night Raw.

There's speculation on WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels working as the special referee for Triple H vs. The Undertaker at the October 6 WWE Super Show-Down event from Australia. Shawn is being advertised to appear at the event and will be on Monday's RAW to discuss the match.

What's next?

Shawn Michaels, Triple H and Undertaker in the same ring together again would certainly be a huge drawing point and moment for WWE's Super Show-Down which takes place at Melbourne Cricket Ground. The WWE will need to have huge draws like this if they hope to get anywhere near the 80-90,000 attendance they're aiming for.

Other matches advertised for the show are Daniel Bryan vs The Miz with the winner getting a future title opportunity, hometown hero Buddy Murphy vs Cedric Alexander for the Cruiserweight Title and John Cena teaming with Bobby Lashley to take on Kevin Owens and Elias.
