WWE Rumor Mill: Possible Reason Behind Braun Strowman's Heel Turn Revealed

Enemies forever?

What's the story?

As per the rumor roundup on Cagesideseats, there is speculation that the main reason behind Braun Strowman turning heel is that his credibility is not hurt on losing his MITB contract match.

In case you didn't know...

Braun Strowman had won the MITB ladder match securing himself a match against the Universal Champion at the time of his choosing.

While in the past, most MITB holders have cashed in in a surprise manner, mostly after the champion has had a grueling match and is in no condition to compete. Braun has given advance notice to Roman Reigns and the two will square off at Hell In A Cell.

Last week, the Shield thwarted Strowman's attempt to cash-in after Reigns' match with Finn Balor by attacking the giant. Strowman retaliated this week on RAW by aligning with Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler, laying out all members of The Shield one by one.

The heart of the matter

Braun Strowman and Roman Reigns have had a storied history and were hell-bent on destroying each other throughout most of 2017.

The two enemies have, however, never competed in a Hell In A Cell match which they will on September 16th, in a bout with Reigns' Universal Championship on the line.

What's next?

Strowman has been one of the crowd favorites and having him turn heel could only mean that he will be taking the loss at HIAC against Roman Reigns.

However, this doesn't mean that their feud will end at the PPV and we could most certainly see The Monster Among Men get his hands on the Universal Championship soon.
