Ember Moon could be out for a year!

Ember Moon has suffered an injury and could be out for nearly a year, according to Dave Meltzer. He noted on the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that she might either have an ankle or an Achilles injury.

While an ankle injury could see her out for a couple of months, an Achilles injury will see her remain on the sidelines for nearly a year. WWE are yet to report on her injury and could be still waiting for a medical report. However, Meltzer said:

Moon will be out of action for a decent length of time with either an ankle or an Achilles injury. The latter is really nasty, as that can be close to a year. Ankle wouldn’t be nearly as bad.

WON also reported on injuries suffered by Samoa Joe and Sasha Banks. They report that Joe is out with a broken thumb while Banks suffered back and hip injuries at Hell In A Cell. A return date for both was not mentioned.

6-time champion wants to come out of retirement

Hulk Hogan has confirmed that he wants to come out of retirement and has spoken to Vince McMahon about it. In a recent interview with Los Angeles Times, Hogan said:

I talked to Vince, and I said I really don’t know if I could live with myself knowing my last match was with TNA. If I can get fixed, I pray I can have one more match. I told Vince, `When I get through this back surgery, I’m going to get in the best shape of my life and we’re going to talk about me having one last retirement match.

The 6-time champion also confirmed that he wanted to fight Vince in his final match.

Original plan for Hell In A Cell ending

Seth Rollins vs The Fiend
Seth Rollins vs The Fiend

The Hell In A Cell pay-per-view was not well received by the fans, and it was mainly because of the way it ended. Seth Rollins vs The Fiend was stopped by the referee who deemed that Bray Wyatt was unable to continue.

The fans were left fuming and there were chants for the match to be restarted when The Fiend got back on his feet. Dave Meltzer has now revealed the original plans for the ending:

The finish of the match was from McMahon, obviously. His idea was always that he wasn’t beating Wyatt this early, but wanted Lesnar, Rollins, Lynch and Flair as the four champions going into the draft and the new beginnings. The original idea for the finish was that Wyatt would take a gimmicked bump off the top of the cage and be unable to continue and the match would be stopped. Then, after it was stopped, he would pop up like Undertaker and take Rollins out with the mandible claw.

Backstage News on WWE Draft

WWE Draft
WWE Draft

WWE Draft is set to take place on Friday Night SmackDown and on Monday Night RAW next week. 68 Superstars have been named in the draft pool, and it looks like we have our first piece of backstage information on the same.

WrestleVotes are now reporting that Paul Heyman has done his best to get hold of two top Superstars who were on the wishlist of the FOX representatives. Heyman has handpicked Bray Wyatt and Aleister Black as per the report.

Meanwhile, FOX have got hold of Roman Reigns and Charlotte Flair as per the same report. They have been on SmackDown for the past few months and Flair is currently the SmackDown Women's champion.

They tweeted: “Draft info is being kept tight lipped, rightfully so. They are trying to make this a big deal. With that said, I know Heyman has fought for Bray Wyatt & Aleister Black to land on RAW. On the flip side, FOX - not specifically Bischoff, has remained steady for Reigns & Charlotte.”
