Lio Rush returned this past week on NXT, on the very first NXT show on USA Network, which surprised many. Rush was reportedly not liked by the WWE locker room, with reports suggesting that he wanted to leave the company.

Triple H, in a conference call after NXT, revealed what he truly felt about the former manager of Bobby Lashley: (H/T Cageside Seats)

"Lio Rush, he’s just a phenomenal, energetic and money performer to me and I’m thrilled that we can put him in the show and have him showcase what he does, he was spectacular tonight."

Rush spoke about how he did not have much money with a few reports suggesting he had backstage heat, which rubbed his fellow Superstars the wrong way. With his return at NXT, it suggests that all is good and we can expect to see him more on Wednesday nights henceforth.

Rush has won an opportunity to face 205 Live Champion Drew Gulak after defeating Oney Lorcan on NXT.
