#2 WWE makes mistake while filing a trademark
WWE often files trademarks on Superstar's nicknames or ring names of Superstars so that others do not use the same. We revealed on a recent rumor roundup that WWE had filed trademarks to a few names and it has now been revealed that they have filed a few more trademarks.
But there is one problem - they've made a mistake in a Superstar's name. WWE have filed trademarks for a few NXT Superstars, as per WrestleZone, which includes Taynara, Dakota Kai, Marina Shafir, Jessamyn Duke, The Forgotten Sons, Vanessa Borne, and Xia Li, but they got the spelling of one Superstar wrong - Io Shirai.
The trademark filed by WWE had Shirai's name spellt as "Lo" Shirai rather than Io Shirai. This is a clerical error, and it will be easily sorted out, but it's surprising that WWE got this one wrong, although the error is understandable as only one letter has been changed.
