#4 Serena Deeb reveals that WWE gave her a bonus for shaving her head

Serena Deeb has been one of the most impressive female wrestlers in the world ever since she was released from WWE in April 2020.

The reigning NWA World Women's Champion is signed with All Elite Wrestling, where she is one of the most seasoned wrestlers in the women's division.

More than her in-ring exploits, Deeb is always remembered for being a CM Punk's Straight Edge Society member in 2010.

Serena Deeb shaved her head during the run with CM Punk, and the wrestler has been asked whether she received any extra money to change her look.

During a recent edition of AEW Unrestricted with Tony Schiavone and Aubrey Edwards, Serena Deeb revealed that she received a WWE bonus for shaving her head.

"I was given a bonus. I'm often tagged in people having the realization that it's the same person. There's a lot of surprise."

Serena Deeb worked as a WWE Performance Center coach for two years until her departure in 2020. Deeb revealed that she enjoyed a coaching role and would not have left WWE if she had the choice.

"I think I just was really; I was embracing that chapter, you know. It seemed like I was following the path of what seemed right in my life, you know. And when I was offered the coaching job, it felt really right, and I thought, 'Well, I got to do a lot in this business, more than a lot of people, and you know, I felt like it might be more of my time to give back in that way. So for me, it was just a matter of kind of following the path." H/t WrestlingInc

Serena Deeb is still just 34 years old and is expected to be the focal point of the AEW women's division.
