#2 Jim Ross reveals how he was disrespected when he returned to WWE

Jim Ross recently spoke about the time when he was released by WWE in the late 2000s and how he was treated by the company. Former WWE announcer Jim Ross stated that it was a bittersweet year for him because he was let go the same year that he got inducted into the Hall of Fame.

Jim Ross talked about the time he was called back for a RAW show even after being let go. Veteran announcer Goldberg had turned them down which got his phone ringing again because they wanted him for a big show in Dallas.

He said that Kevin Dunn called him asking what he was doing on that day. JR told him that he has been let go so he won't be doing anything. Dunn then asked JR if he wanted to 'drop by' to which JR agreed. Ross revealed how Vince McMahon did not greet him properly when he returned.

It was just disrespectful. Poor communication and too many sycophants surrounding the boss to change his mind about the team. JR and the [Jerry Lawler] King were the solid components always on RAW, there was stability there.
