#3 Rey Mysterio believes Cain Velasquez will return to WWE
Rey Mysterio was recently a guest on Ariel Helwani's ESPN MMA Show, and the WWE Legend shared his thoughts on Cain Velasquez's recent WWE release and wrestling future.
Rey Mysterio revealed that Cain Velasquez is quite passionate about wrestling and Lucha Libre while adding that Velasquez's big dream was to perform in WWE. The future WWE Hall of Famer claimed that he doesn't think Velasquez is done for good as the former UFC Champion could be back.
Mysterio also felt that Cain Velasquez made the right call to wrestle without a mask as the MMA Heavyweight had created his legacy while fighting in UFC.
"I really don't — I can't dig into the exact situation with Cain [Velasquez]. I do know for a fact that he's very dedicated. He's very passionate about Lucha Libre and about wrestling. I know this was one of his biggest dreams to be part of WWE. I honestly don't think that he's gone for good. I think he's gonna make an appearance and a comeback, and it's very hard to put a mask on someone that has created their own history within the UFC, like Cain.
