#1 WWE Superstar Roman Reigns reveals why his attire was banned after just one PPV match
WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns has been one of the biggest Superstars in the company for the past six years. Reigns has sported the same look that he debuted in as part of The Shield for most of his career, even though his teammates Seth Rollins and Jon Moxley had altered their appearances after the faction broke up.
It was in 2020 when Reigns returned that he debuted his new look as The Tribal Chief, finally ditching his Shield vest. However, there was another time in 2017 when Reigns tried to experiment with his look though it didn't work out.

Speaking to Complex’s Joe La Puma, the former WWE Champion talked about the time he wore shoes with white soles instead of his regular boots.
“I had to kind of put in ankle braces and make it work for me for the performance. But, man, they felt good, they felt lighter. The sole was a bit more cushiony. Those Nike boots are nice, too, that I wear. But, man, the white soles, I think that’s a classic look. I don’t think it’s ever going out of style.”
Reigns stated that while he liked the look personally, an 'important person' in WWE did not, which is why he never wore them again.
