Drew Gulak made his way to WWE after making a mark in the world of independent wrestling. While Gulak is a former Cruiserweight Champion as well as a multiple-time 24/7 Champion, many believe he is not being utilized to his full potential in WWE.
One such man who shares this opinion is Vince Russo. While speaking to SK Wrestling on Legion of RAW, the former WWE Head Writer blasted WWE's booking of Drew Gulak, saying that he has no character at all.

Drew Gulak had been receiving a slight push on SmackDown before he got drafted to RAW this year. The apparent reason for his push on the blue brand was former WWE Champion Daniel Bryan vouching for him backstage, and even forming a tag team with him on-screen.
