With Cain Velasquez now a part of the WWE roster, the talk of the company also getting Daniel Cormier on board has naturally intensified in recent weeks.

Look who just shut down all of Tony Khan's critics! More HERE.

DC is known to be a big fan of pro wrestling and the former UFC Heavyweight Champion has never shied away from admitting his desire of having a career in and around the squared circle.

The former UFC Heavyweight Champion was a guest on Konnan's Keepin it 100 podcast in which he opened up about working with Vince McMahon's company in some capacity in the future.

Cormier has had talks with a lot of people regarding various roles that he could take up with WWE. His close relationship with FOX meant that he was in the running to be a part of WWE Backstage. Cormier also revealed that he had spoken to Triple H and Michael Cole and added that he would be all in to work for WWE if the right opportunity comes by.

Here what he shared:

“I’ve had a lot of conversations with a lot of people about different things with WWE. One was the studio show in LA (WWE Backstage). Another one was maybe trying to figure out a way to be on the commentary table. I’ve got some great relationships with FOX so I don’t necessarily know if it was WWE pushing it or FOX pushing it.” Cormier added, “I’ve talked to Triple H and Michael Cole, I’ve talked to the people who run the shows down at FOX. I like to say the ship has not sailed. We still have to find something that works and the moment we find something that works, I’m all in.” H/t Credit: WrestlingNews.co

Cormier also proposed an idea where he would show up in the WWE and turn on his good friend Cain Velasquez for a one-off match. He would then happily manage Velasquez after wrapping up the bout. Interesting, isn't it?

As of this writing, Cormier is busy preparing for his final UFC bout, which is expected to be a trilogy fight against Stipe Miocic. The fight is expected to take place in 2020 when Miocic returns from his injury.

#6. Another twist in Lana-Rusev storyline

Despite being the most criticized angle on TV at the moment, WWE has no plans of giving up on the storyline featuring Lana, Rusev and Bobby Lashley.

Lana revealed that she was pregnant with Rusev's child during the RAW tapings in Manchester. The Bulgarian Brute came out after listening to the announcement and conceded that he was indeed a sex-addict. He was then attacked by Bobby Lashley.

As you may have expected, it was labelled the worst segment of the year by the Manchester fans who were unfortunate enough to watch it while it happened.

PWInsider now reveals that there is another swerve in store for the angle that was not taped in front of the audience. The report states that Lana is not pregnant and she just lied to get Rusev out to the ring so that he could be attacked by Lashley.

We don't even feel like elaborating on this story. Just tune in to RAW on Monday to find out what happens.

Moving on...
