#7. Cedric Alexander shoots down rumors of WWE burying him in AJ Styles feud
Cedric Alexander is undoubtedly one of the brightest in-ring talents in the WWE, however, he has not been able to get a strong footing on the main roster ever since being called up.
Look who just shut down all of Tony Khan's critics! More HERE.
The former 205 Live Superstar was involved in a feud with AJ Styles recently and he was destroyed The O.C. on more than one occasion during the programme.
The nature of Alexander's booking gave rise to reports of Vince McMahon wanting to bury the Superstar.
Alexander addressed those reports during his chat with TalkSPORT's Alex McCarthy and admitted that it annoyed him a bit. He explained how losing to AJ Styles doesn't qualify as being buried and that he was put in the ring with the Phenomenal One for a reason.
Alexander stated:
"Of course [it annoyed me]. When you hear things like that, it doesn't help my brand, you know what I mean? Regardless of how you feel about it, whether you think AJ buried me or not—it was fine. I knew what it was! It was great matches, I got to show a lot of my personality and my in-ring style.
A loss isn't a burial. It's AJ Styles, how is that a burial?! He's one of the holy trinity's of wrestling to me [with Samoa Joe and Christopher Daniels] so to lose to essentially a wrestling deity is fine by me.
I read comments like, 'Cedric is great, but they're burying him' but it's like, you must have check out the match then? It was good, right? You can't get buried losing to AJ Styles. You just can't. There's a reason they're putting me in a the ring with AJ Styles."
#8. Becky Lynch's message to the locker room
Becky Lynch is one of the biggest Superstars currently on the roster and the success hasn't come easy for The Man.
The RAW Women's Champion spoke to Sports Illustrated and sent out a stern message to the entire locker room and the Superstars who were trying to copy her modus operandi to get to the top of the food chain.
Lynch called for the talents to stop bi****** about her and to step up their game if they wish to reach her level.
“In our locker room, there are two types of people. Those who are b******* about how I got to the top and those who are trying to copy what I did. But you have to go outside of that. You have to be completely different. Step up. Make a name for yourself. Do it without doing it the way I did. I see what everyone else is doing, and then I try to do the opposite. Be original. Create the interest I have, put together the matches I’ve had. No one can do what I do. If you can, please step up to the plate.” H/t Credit: Sports Illustrated
