Mustafa Ali publicly requested his release from WWE a few days ago. It was reported that the reason behind Ali wanting to quit was that the company had no plans for him and did not use him despite him being available. It was later reported by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful that he had a fallout with Vince McMahon over the direction of his character.
"I have a message that is much bigger than my dreams in pro wrestling. Despite my best efforts, I will not be able to deliver this message while working with WWE. Therefore, I am requesting my release," Mustafa Ali tweeted.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter stated that the 205 Live star asked for his release after he was given a character he did not like.
#3 Major change for WWE Monday Night RAW
PWInsider has reported that RAW will air on Syfy instead of USA twice in February. The change came because of the coverage of the Winter Olympics on the USA Network.
The 2022 games will take place in February and RAW will have to take a backseat and move networks for a short period of time. The February 7th and 14th episodes of RAW will not air on USA.
