Sportskeeda's Alex McCarthy has revealed that his source has told him that Vince McMahon wants to make his son Shane McMahon the next creative head of WWE Monday Night RAW. The position was earlier held by Paul Heyman, who was sacked and replaced with Bruce Prichard.

Breaking Vince Russo and Jim Cornette update HERE.

However, it is being said that Prichard is finding his current schedule as the head of both RAW and SmackDown too hectic and wants to focus solely on the blue brand. It is likely that Shane O' Mac will step into the role soon and finally get involved with the creative process again.

Here is what Alex McCarthy said:

Now, one source in WWE has told me Shane is being considered to take RAW off Bruce Prichard's hands leaving him to concentrate on SmackDown.
Other sources that I've posed this information couldn't give concrete confirmation, though judging by work behind the scenes, they can believe it. Another layer to the story is Prichard making no secret about the fact he'd like to lighten his workload and he's been struggling with the long hours.
