WWE Rumor Roundup: Top NXT Superstar returning to main-roster; Real reason behind company creating major faction; Ex Universal Champion breaks script during match; Mustafa Ali speaks out - 6th October 2020
In an unexpected move by WWE, Mustafa Ali was declared the leader of RETRIBUTION. Though it was thought that the faction will only consist of NXT Superstars, Ali has become the first main roster Superstar to join the faction.
It came as quite a swerve as nobody expected the former 205 Live Superstar to be apart of this team. However, Mustafa Ali broke his silence and posted a cryptic Tweet after the show.

Mustafa Ali had been stuck in limbo ever since coming to the main roster from 205 Live. While his peers such as Murphy and Cedric Alexander were involved in some big storylines, Ali was forgotten.
Although he did appear on RAW every now and then, it did not look like WWE had any major plans for the WWE Superstar. But by making him the leader of RETRIBUTION, WWE has given him a new lease of life. Hopefully, he will do well in his new role.
