It has been reported that former WWE Champion Edge will be making his return to SmackDown in September this year. The Rater R Superstar has not been seen since he lost the triple threat match featuring Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania 37.
WrestleVotes has now claimed that Edge is likely to face another former WWE champion Seth Rollins at this year's SummerSlam event.
They stated that apart from the marquee match between Roman Reigns and John Cena, Edge has been penciled for a big match against former Universal Champion Seth Rollins at the show as well. WrestleVotes speculates:
