Luke Harper may be back on TV but that hasn't confirmed his long-term future with WWE.

As reported by WrestlingNews.co, Luke Harper is yet to sign a new contract with the company and the chances of him leaving in the next few months are quite high. It was also added that Harper could jump ship to AEW, where he has good friends that could help him get on board.
After months of absence, Harper surprisingly returned at the Clash of Champions PPV to help Erick Rowan beat Roman Reigns. Rowan and Harper have reunited and will take on the team of Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns at Hell in a Cell on October 6th.
It's a widely-known fact that Harper asked for his WWE release earlier this year. The company, however, denied him the release and reportedly added extra time to his contract. The added time was the duration he was away from in-ring action due to injury.
It was believed that Vince McMahon would never use Harper again, which, as we all know, turned out to be false. Harper was informed about his angle with Rowan only two days before Clash of Champions, and while he is being booked in a top-tier feud on SmackDown Live, the situation between WWE and Harper hasn't necessarily changed for the good.
Harper has also been vocal about his displeasure with WWE on social media and as of this writing, it does seem like Harper will quit WWE and possibly join AEW once his current deal comes to an end.
