Cole has been protected in the past few weeks as he's been kept away from in-ring action. He didn't wrestle at any of the live events last week and was also featured as part of Matt Camp's NXT injury report on WWE Now. Cole is one of four NXT Superstars who is currently injured. The other stars include Dominik Dijakovic, Kushida and Raul Mendoza.
Cole was said to have suffered a fractured shoulder as a result of Matt Riddle's attack on the recent episode of NXT. Cole, though, is certainly carrying a real injury and it has been pretty evident from the fact that his right wrist has been wrapped up with a cast on a few occasions of late.
Cole is scheduled to take on Matt Riddle for the NXT Championship on next week's episode and we're still not sure whether he will be able to wrestle. We expect WWE to incorporate the injury in the on-going angle and to extend the feud until he completely heals up.
#6. Bray Wyatt teased to move to SmackDown
A commercial aired by FOX may have possibly revealed The Fiend's move to SmackDown.
As shared by a fan on Twitter, the image of The Fiend briefly flashed on the screen during the commercial:
WrestleVotes had revealed a few days ago that FOX executives wanted The Fiend on SmackDown despite the fact that Paul Heyman is a big Bray Wyatt fan and wants to keep him on RAW.
Wyatt will take on Seth Rollins for the Universal Championship at Hell in a Cell and he is expected to become the new Universal Champion. You may be wondering how the Universal Champion can move to SmackDown. WWE may have a way around that as well.
Brock Lesnar will take on Kofi Kingston for the WWE Championship at SmackDown's debut episode on FOX and even if he wins the title, word is that he may stay put on RAW. That means WWE could switch the top titles which could see Bray Wyatt take the Universal title to SmackDown and Lesnar, or even Kofi Kingston, take the WWE title to RAW.
This is all just speculation at the moment but the FOX commercial heavily hints at The Fiend moving to Friday nights on SmackDown.
