Remember Brodus Clay? Yes, the dancing big guy. Does 'The Funkaaurus' ring a bell? It sure should.

Brodus Clay AKA Tyrus was a guest on VOC Nation's Wrestling with History and the former WWE Superstar opened up on a variety of topics, one of which included his status as an in-ring performer and whether he plans on returning to wrestling.

Tyrus explained that he doesn't consider himself retired, before dropping teasers about his next move. The former WWE Superstar hinted at joining AEW, WWE and NWA while also adding that he plans on returning to in-ring action to compete for a year before hanging up his boots for good.

“I’m still a wrestler. I don’t consider myself anything else. Even though I’m doing very well with those other things, I’m still thinking ‘well, do I want to go ride with Matt Hardy and put hands on Cody? Do I want to go back to WWE? Do I want to go to NWA just so I can cut a promo on that set?…I’m definitely not done…one last ride, I have maybe a year left and then retire, leave my boots in the ring and let somebody else do it.” H/t Credit: VOCNation Via WrestlingNews.co

The 47-year-old Superstar left the WWE in 2017 and he went on to wrestle for Impact Wrestling and a few indie promotions. His last match took place in December 2018 at a House of Hardcore show and the former Best Slammy Award Winner for Best Dancer (Yes, that was a thing!), has not wrestled ever since.
