While speaking to Corey Graves on After the Bell podcast current SmackDown Tag Team Champions Kofi Kingston and Big E revealed how they felt about the company's decision to take the WWE Championship off Kofi Kingston on the first episode of SmackDown on FOX and put it on Brock Lesnar.
While Kofi Kingston stated that he understood the booking decision, Big E revealed that he was 'irate' when he found out the fashion in which Kofi Kingston lost the Championship in a matter of minutes.

Kofi is a lot more level-headed than maybe anyone else I’ve ever met in the business, because everyone else would have reacted [negatively]. I was irate when I found out about it. That’s a testament to Kofi. I’m not going to say no one else in the industry, but very, very few people would have that same approach and be able to move on and not have this feeling of sour grapes and that they were wronged.”
