What’s the story?

Per PWInsider, Dean Ambrose & Renee Young were recently spotted in Birmingham.

Apparently, Ambrose was still sporting a sling on his arm, while in town for his checkup with the WWE’s doctors.

In case you didn’t know…

Dean Ambrose suffered a triceps injury in December of last year.

Ambrose has been out of action ever since; with experts asserting that he’s likely to miss no less than 9 months of in-ring competition.

The heart of the matter

It was recently revealed that Dean Ambrose has indeed been pulled from his WrestleMania Axxess appearances, and replaced by Ric Flair and Sting.

The vast majority of professional wrestling experts noted that Ambrose being pulled off the WrestleMania Axxess schedule as well as being taken off multiple World of Wheels convention appearances may indicate that the former WWE Champion could’ve hit a roadblock in his injury rehab process.

It was added that perhaps Ambrose could’ve undergone another surgery, or else he wouldn’t have been pulled from something as physically non-strenuous as meet and greet sessions.

Regardless, it’s now being revealed that Ambrose and his wife Renee Young have indeed been spotted in Birmingham, Alabama—with the Shield member sporting a sling on his injured arm.

What’s next?

Per general medical guidelines, a triceps injury—something that Ambrose is rehabbing—takes around 9 months or more to heal.

Dean Ambrose is expected to make his in-ring return around August of this year.

Author’s take

Dean Ambrose is an exceptionally talented performer, and it’s sad to see him sit on the sidelines owing to the injury bug.

Ambrose is a criminally underrated athlete and seems to be working extremely hard on his path of returning to in-ring competition.

Here’s hoping all is well with The Lunatic Fringe and returns to his winning ways inside the squared circle.
