WWE Rumors: Backstage reaction on Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows signing new deals

Fightful now have some backstage reaction to the contract signing, and it is the same as the WWE fans worldwide. They claim that the feeling backstage was that the tag-team would be leaving the company when their contracts expire and are surprised to see them signing new deals.
In case you didn’t know…
Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows joined WWE in 2016, and they were reportedly on their way out this year. Reports suggested that they were unhappy with the way they were handled and that the tag team wasn't pleased with the creative direction.
The former tag team champions reportedly had refused to sign the deals offered to them earlier this year and were thus pushed off WWE TV for some time. All that has changed now and with their futures secured, they have teamed up with AJ Styles once again and helped him win the United States Championship.
The heart of the matter
The Club is back in the limelight on Monday Night Raw, and it has all happened thanks to Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows signing the new deals. The former tag-team champions put pen to a 5-year deal recently, and it looks like WWE creative are going to be using them a lot more now.
Fightful report [H/T Pro Wrestling] that the people backstage were stunned by the news as it looked like The Good Brothers were set to leave in September when their contracts were up. One source even added that he wasn't confident that WWE was giving opportunities to many tag-teams.
With 5-year deals signed, Anderson and Gallows are set to be in the limelight for some time. Especially with The Club back together and AJ Styles winning the US title, they are set to be pushed as the top heel fraction for the foreseeable future.
