WWE Rumors: Becky Lynch missing house shows because of 'legitimate injury'

What's the story?

Becky Lynch may be the WWE's biggest star right now after winning the Royal Rumble and presumably going on to main event WrestleMania. However, the 'Lass Kicker' has allegedly picked up a legitimate injury.

In case you didn't know...

Becky Lynch, famous for invading Monday Night Raw before Survivor Series, invaded the red brand again last week to confront Ronda Rousey and tell her she'll be facing her for the Raw Women's Title at WrestleMania.

Stephanie McMahon has invited Becky Lynch onto Monday Night Raw this week, with Lynch having a fitting reply for the Commissioner.

The heart of the matter

Dave Meltzer reported via Wrestling Observer Radio that Becky Lynch was one of three top stars to not make their scheduled live event appearances with AJ Styles and Seth Rollins also not appearing either, but he didn't know why Lynch was pulled.

So this is really weird. This weekend, so I don’t know the details yet, but Seth Rollins, AJ Styles, and Becky Lynch were all advertised for their shows, but they weren’t there. Seth Rollins didn’t work in Saskatoon and the other one was Vancouver and that was where both AJ and Becky Lynch didn’t work.

WrestlingNewsCo.Com has reported that Becky's absence from her live show obligations seems to be so that she can rest up and recover from a legitimate knee injury, with the Superstar being seen wearing a knee brace.

We’re told that Lynch is dealing with a legitimate left knee injury and that is why she was not at this weekend’s live events. She was wearing a knee brace at last week’s Raw and SmackDown Live and we’re told she was wearing it while on the road last weekend as well.

What's next?

Whilst things sound bad for 'The Man', the WrestlingNewsCo article goes on to state that she isn't expected to miss any WWE television time in the run-up to WrestleMania so it seems to be more of a precaution than anything!
