WWE Rumors: Brand split could come to an end for a select few superstars soon

Another major change in the works.
Another major change in the works.

What's the story?

WWE all set to crown the inaugural Women's Tag Team Champions at the upcoming Elimination Chamber 2019 PPV and it seems the company is already working out ways to feature the newly introduced title on both brands.

In case you didn't know...

Six teams will compete inside the brutal Elimination Chamber cage to determine the holders of the brand new belts. The teams include Nia Jax & Tamina, The IIconics, Sasha Banks and Bayley, The Riott Squad, Sonya Deville & Mandy Rose, and Naomi & Carmella.

The betting odds have firmly placed Boss 'n' Hug Connection as the favorites to capture the titles. It should be noted that the odds can change once the smart money comes in right before the PPV goes on air.

Whoever becomes the champions would have a busy time ahead as WWE has something interesting lined up not just for the champs, but for the entire division.

The heart of the matter

WrestleVotes revealed that the WWE plans on gradually crossing over the Women's division between both shows with the arrival of the Women's' Tag Team titles.

It has been reported that the new champions will initially show up on both brands but it will not be a weekly phenomenon.

While WWE boasts of a stacked male roster, they are still short on female superstars who can fill up both brands. It is expected to get tougher with the Women's tag team straps also coming into the picture, thus to simplify it all, the company may let the women be on both brands. However as stated above, it will be a slow process and may take time until it gets fully implemented.

What's next?

It will certainly be intriguing to see whether the proposed new plan, as well as the tag team titles, manages to take off in the coming months. The creative has a lot on their plates as WrestleMania 35 approaches and we sincerely hope they deliver this time around.
