WWE Rumors: Bray Wyatt asked the company to add a popular Superstar to his faction

We always learn something new about the backstage happenings in the WWE on Sportskeeda's Dropkick DiSKussions and the latest edition was no different. Tom Colohue made a very interesting revelation on the most recent episode of Sportskeeda's Dropkick DiSKussions podcast with host Korey Gunz.

Colohue revealed that Bray Wyatt was the one who requested WWE to call Braun Strowman up to the main roster and book him to debut as the fourth member of the Wyatt Family back in 2015.

Tom also explained how Wyatt stands up for the people backstage and that the former WWE Champion intends on working with Superstars who he genuinely likes.

"The man behind the mask, he’s a very strong proponent for people. He stands by people, he stands up for people. He has a very strong record. He was encouraging the WWE to put Braun Strowman in the Wyatt Family. To debut him in the Wyatt Family. He wants to work with people he likes and I know Harper is one of those, and I know Strowman is one of the those."

Braun Strowman, as we all know, has gone on to become one of the most popular Superstars on the roster, and while he may be in a creative limbo as we speak, the company sees him as a long-term project who has always been protected and will get a major push in due time.

As for Bray Wyatt, The Fiend's era is well and truly upon us in WWE. Bray Wyatt's genius has been showcased in its twisted glory on WWE TV as the Universal Champion's alter-ego has been terrorizing the entire roster ever since its introduction.

Wyatt is all set to introduce a new character to his Firefly Funhouse entourage on the upcoming episode of SmackDown and many rumors are going around regarding who it could be. Will it be a returning Women's Superstar? Could we see another puppet being added to mix?

Tom Colohue and Korey Gunz also discussed Bray Wyatt's new character on Dropkick DiSKussions.

Colohue and Gunz both agreed that the fans may not see a Superstar being introduced as the teased new character and that it may end up being a puppet or a caricature of a Superstar.
