WWE Rumors: Cesaro's shoot might be a blessing in disguise

Here I am

Vince McMahon is feared for punishing Superstars for far less – just ask Joe Laurinaitis AKA Road Warrior Animal. The Chairman’s ire was inflicted on the legend for wearing jeans! So imagine what was going through the mind of the locker room when they watched Cesaro’s pre-Draft interview and his shoot on being picked in the sixth round.

When asked which show he preferred to be on and why, the Swiss Superman chose SmackDown because he feels Raw is the “bad guy show”. Cesaro was reportedly punished for his candor and even his stats were displayed incorrectly (almost certainly deliberately) during his post-Draft interview with Jojo.

But the former United States Champion unswervingly picked up where he left off, stating on the Battleground pre-show that he felt injusticed because he wasn’t given a match. Well, like the old adage says, strength respects strength and it looks like Cesaro’s near-masochistic perseverance has drawn some grudging approval from Vinny Mac.

Multiple sources like cagesideseats.com and dailywestlingnews.com report that there might be light at the end of the tunnel for Cesaro because Vince likes his talent showing some backbone.

Whether this will translate to a worthwhile storyline remains to be seen tomorrow(hopefully) on the first Raw since the Draft.
