WWE Rumors: Elias Samson set to make main roster debut soon

What’s the story?

According to the Rumour Roundup on Cageside Seats, NXT Superstar Elias Samson is set to debut on the main roster in April.

In case you didn't know...

Elias Samson began his professional wrestling career in 2007, under the name “Logan Shulo,” in the Northeastern independent scene. In 2014, Elias was signed to a WWE contract and assigned to NXT.

The heart of the matter

During the latest episode of NXT on the WWE Network, Samson faced Kassius Ohno in a “Loser Leaves NXT” contest. After a highly competitive match, Ohno came away with the win, which meant Elias Samson had to immediately leave NXT.

Many believe Elias was only written off of NXT TV, to make way for his forthcoming WWE main roster debut. There are also some sites, including Cageside Seats, now suggesting that Samson will be making his debut on RAW or Smackdown Live, sometime in April, possibly shortly after Wrestlemania.

What’s next?

All eyes are focused on Orlando, for this Sundays Wrestlemania 33 at the Camping World Stadium. As it stands right now, there are no plans for Elias Samson to participate in any match at ‘Mania. However, stranger things have occurred, so never say never!

Elias Samson has yet to accomplish much during his NXT tenure. With that said, one can only go as far as the creative powers allow. Elias has a unique, yet intriguing style. He reminds me of a Honky Tonk Man, Dean Ambrose hybrid. Overall, Elias has a very solid, competent body of work and appears to have the skills needed to succeed at the highest level, which would obviously be the WWE main roster.

Honestly, I am a fan of Samson. He could very well elevate his game on the main roster and achieve heights no one ever believed he could. I believe Elias is on the verge of a creative breakthrough, which could result in a great run for him at the next level.
