A number of outlets had reported earlier this week that Ember Moon’s injury at an NXT tapings on 19th April was a work. However, Ember Moon is apparently injured after all, according to latest reports.
In case you didn’t know...
A Battle Royal to determine the new #1 contender for the NXT Women’s Championship was held at the NXT tapings on 19th April. During the match, Ember was attacked by Asuka and tossed out of the ring. She is said to have landed hard on her shoulder and was reportedly in tears as officials led her to the back.
The heart of the matter
Natalya was down in the Performance Center recently and she along with the rest of the women of NXT, took a photo with a young fan named Chase. Ember Moon can be spotted in the group photo sporting a sling on her shoulder.
This had led to rumours that her injury is not a work after all. On top of that, Ember did not work last Thursday’s NXT live event in Kansas City where Asuka faced Daria Berenato instead.
What’s next?
If Ember Moon is indeed injured, we aren’t sure how long she will be out for.

Ember Moon is set to get another shot at the NXT Women’s Championship at NXT TakeOver: Chicago. If the injury ends up being serious, she could miss the match where she was probably going to be pencilled in to win the NXT Women’s Championship.
