WWE Rumors: Huge name spotted in Austin, Texas ahead of SmackDown Live
What's the story?
Braun Strowman hasn't been seen on Raw since his elbow surgery that took place last week, but ahead of SmackDown Live, he has been spotted in Texas.
In case you didn't know...
Braun Strowman is currently scheduled to face Baron Corbin at TLC next weekend, but their match could end in a forfeit since The Monster Among Men has been sidelined through a pre-existing elbow injury.
Strowman was written off WWE TV so that he could have the surgery a few weeks ago when he was attacked by Drew McIntyre, Bobby Lashley, and Baron Corbin and it was reported that he would be part of the show this week, but he didn't actually make an appearance.
The heart of the matter
According to PWInsider, Braun Strowman has been spotted in Austin, Texas ahead of tonight's SmackDown Live which is the penultimate show ahead of TLC on December 16th. Baron Corbin and Strowman have had a number of issues over the past few months and the fact that Corbin's future as Raw General Manager is riding on the match as well as Braun's future match with Brock Lesnar at The Royal Rumble.
It's unlikely that Strowman will feature on tonight's episode of SmackDown Live since it's more likely that he is in town for a medical evaluation or to record a segment for the upcoming episode of Raw ahead of TLC.
Strowman will face Baron Corbin at TLC, but the General Manager Elect is under the impression that Strowman will not appear and he will then win the match via forfeit, which means that he will be given the job as General Manager full time.
