Batista in 'deep talks' with WWE AND AEW

What's the story?

Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet has reported that Dave Bautista, better known as Batista in the WWE, is in fact in talks with the company about having a match at WrestleMania, but added that WWE weren't the only company interested in the former multiple time WWE World Champion and film star.

In case you didn't know...

Many expected Batista to appear at WrestleMania after he showed up during the SmackDown Live 1,000th episode to reunite popular wrestling stable Evolution and teased some tension between him and fellow stable member Triple H.

However, Triple H got injured at 'Crown Jewel' and had to have surgery and Batista was announced as joining the cast of 'Dune' leading many to believe the prospective match was off and so was Batista's potential 'Mania appearance.

The heart of the matter

Ryan Satin has alleged that WWE and Batista are 'deep' into talks for 'The Animal' to not only show up at WrestleMania 35, but to actually compete in a match.

According to multiple sources, the “Guardians of the Galaxy” star is deep in talks with WWE about a return on “The Grandest Stage of Them All.”

For fans excited about the prospect of the 'James Bond', 'Guardian's of the Galaxy' and 'Blade Runner 2049' star wrestling another WWE, there's one problem. He might get poached by another company. Who's the other company? AEW of course!

However, we’re told he’s 50/50 on returning at this point based on how talks have gone.
In addition to this, we’re told there’s been interest expressed to Dave from All Elite Wrestling and he isn’t turning them away. Our sources say he’s listening to what both companies have to offer.

AEW have already snapped up Kenny Omega despite looming speculation about his free-agency, and Chris Jericho but Dave Bautista could give them that star power I feel they're in desperate need of.

What's next?

AEW signing Batista would be quite something wouldn't it? However, I think it'd be a shame if we didn't get to see 'The Animal' shaking those ring ropes on 'The Grandest Stage of Them All' just one more time!
