Jinder Mahal is yet to win a title in the WWE. He has only won one singles title so far in his career. It came in Prairie Wrestling Alliance where he was a two-time Heavyweight champion. Apart from this, Mahal has won Tag Team championships in All-Star Wrestling and Stampede Wrestling.

The rumour suggests that Jinder Mahal is unlikely to win the WWE title from Randy Orton at Backlash. However, WWE’s plans could change depending on the reaction that the buildup gets.
Mahal became the number one contender a few weeks back when he won the six-pack challenge on SmackDown Live. He is now scheduled to face Randy Orton for the title at Backlash on May 21.

Jinder Mahal and the Singh Brothers are expected to cause problems for Orton. The trio helped Bray Wyatt during Payback and WWE might go with a similar booking in the coming weeks. Mahal walking out of Backlash as the WWE Champion would be a surprise move. It would certainly make everyone talk. The Maharaja has been performing well lately and he is bound to get natural heat if he wins the gold.
