What's the story?

Kevin Owens returned to WWE after a few months on the sidelines due to a knee injury back in March, but despite his speedy recovery, Owens doesn't currently have a match at WrestleMania.

In case you didn't know...

Kevin Owens was reportedly originally scheduled to face Daniel Bryan for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 35, but the recent boost to Kofi Kingston has meant that Owens returned to WWE early to cash in his shot at Fastlane and Kingston will now take his place next Sunday night.

This has left Owens off the card for this year's WrestleMania since all the names have been announced for The Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal apart from just two and Owens isn't expected to be one of them.

The heart of the matter

Owens is scheduled to have Randy Orton and AJ Styles as guests on The Kevin Owens Show this week on SmackDown Live and according to a report by WrestlingNews.Co, the company could find a way to integrate Owens in the match between the two stars at WrestleMania.

The site reports that Owens is expected to be part of the pay-per-view and since this is the final show ahead of Sunday night's Show of Shows, it would be the only place that Owens could set up a match for WrestleMania 35.

What's next?

Kevin Owens will host The Kevin Owens Show with Styles and Orton as guests on SmackDown Live and even though Owens is now a face, it's likely that he will still want to stir things up and find a way to insert himself into their WrestleMania match.
