WWE Rumors: Next challengers for New Day's tag team championships

Come and get it

Apart from the 2-days returned Seth Rollins, there is no other performer/s on the roster who are as provocative as the New Day. The WWE tag team champions’ 324+ day(combined) reign is going strong and there seems to be none in sight who can stagger the juggernaut. Or is there?

Reports have surfaced that the Social Outcasts may be next in line for a shot at the twin, or in this case, trio of gold belts, according to cagesideseats.com. The two factions had a match yesterday where Heath Slater was quickly and emphatically squashed, before being plastered with cake.

It is impossible to imagine the Social Outcasts coming out on top in a feud between them, given their booking and the fact that they are a member short. Adam Rose, who in the midst of a 60-day suspension for a Wellness Policy violation, was arrested for domestic violence and felony witness tampering, has been released by the WWE. The 36-year-old South African asked to be let go.

Rookie sensations Enzo and Cass are also on the table, but they will most probably get their shot at the gold at SummerSlam. After being off-screen following a concussion at WWE Payback, Enzo Amore returned on this week’s RAW to a volcanic ovation.
