WWE Rumors: Possible reason why Vince McMahon is returning to Monday Night Raw 

What's the story?

WWE announced earlier this week that Vince McMahon would be making his return to Monday Night Raw this coming week, even though the reason for his return is currently unknown.

In case you didn't know...

McMahon was last seen on SmackDown's 1000th episode back in October when he was joined in the ring by both Stephanie and Shane as the three stars celebrated a huge accomplishment for the Tuesday night show.

The biggest story on Monday Night Raw currently centers around Baron Corbin and whether or not he will be given the General Manager's job on a permanent basis, something that could force McMahon to make his return. After all, Stephanie is the commissioner of Raw, but McMahon was the one who gave Stephanie the job on Raw and could easily go over her head.

The heart of the matter

Bryan Alvarez recently noted on Figure Four Daily that he believes that McMahon is making his return in order to shake up Monday Night Raw and give a few NXT superstars their debuts ahead of The Royal Rumble.

“I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if Vince showed up on Monday and he fired Baron Corbin and maybe he debuted a few guys and he really shook the thing up and he gave us some matches we want to see and a few happy endings and the show ends and everyone’s really excited. If that happens, everybody’s got to remember there’s still gotta be another show next week,” he said via Ringsidenews.

What's next?

Vince McMahon is set to make his return to Monday Night Raw the night after TLC next week and his return to the show could have some huge implications on the product moving forward.
