WWE Rumors: Possible spoiler on Velveteen Dream's main roster debut 

What's the story?

The Velveteen Dream has been described by many as the next breakout star from NXT. Legends like Triple H and John Cena have both sung his praises.

PWInsider Elite Audio recently named three superstars who could be surprise entrants in the Royal Rumble. Velveteen Dream was one of the names mentioned in the list.

In case you didn't know...

The Royal Rumble will take place this weekend and every Royal Rumble has appearances from special guests. Last year, we saw the return of Rey Mysterio after a period away from the company.

There has been much speculation about who some of the potential surprises could be for the 2019 Royal Rumble. This includes stars from NXT, many of whom have already participated in the Royal Rumble. We saw Tye Dillinger show up at the Royal Rumble at the Number 10 spot two years ago.

The heart of the matter

Cageside Seats has mentioned, via PWInsider Elite Audio, that Kurt Angle, The Velveteen Dream and Bray Wyatt are the three men who could be potential surprises for the Royal Rumble match. Each of these returns could potentially be a very big deal for the product.

The Velveteen Dream is conspicuously absent from the lineup at NXT TakeOver: Phoenix the night before the Royal Rumble. This is a big deal because he has stolen the show at almost every other TakeOver that he has participated in. Many are speculating that the reason could be that he is making his main roster debut at the Royal Rumble.
