WWE Rumors: Sasha Banks injured at the Royal Rumble, will she wrestle on WWE RAW tonight?

According to reports, it looks like Sasha Banks may have picked up an injury during her RAW Women's Championship match against Ronda Rousey at the WWE Royal Rumble.

In case you didn't know...

Sasha Banks faced RAW Women's Champion Ronda Rousey at the WWE Royal Rumble in what many fans considered a dream match. Banks and Rousey did not disappoint and put on one of the best women's matches in Royal Rumble history and arguably the best singles match of the night.

Although Banks came close to winning a couple of times, it was Ronda Rousey who retained her title; pinning Sasha Banks after hitting the Piper's Pit.

The heart of the matter

According to John Pollock of Post Wrestling, it looks like Sasha Banks may have picked up a slight injury at the WWE Royal Rumble. Pollock stated that Sasha Banks wasn't cleared to wrestle after the Rumble but did add that she should be cleared for WWE RAW tonight:

“Sasha Banks was not cleared after her match with Ronda Rousey last Sunday at the Royal Rumble, but she is expected to be cleared for Monday’s Raw and her tag match with Bayley against Nikki Cross and Alicia Fox.”

The injury does not seem serious and Banks looks like she's over it already. Sasha and Bayley are currently the favourites to win the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships at WWE Elimination Chamber later this month.

Sasha Banks is expected to team up with Bayley tonight on WWE RAW and they will face the team of Nikki Cross and Alicia Fox with the winners qualifying for the WWE Women's Tag-Team Title Elimination Chamber match.
