WWE Rumors: Top Superstar reportedly 'being groomed' to take on RAW Women's Champion Becky Lynch; 2020 plans revealed

The Man Becky Lynch has had a remarkable year in 2019. From being one of the first women to main-event WrestleMania to becoming the first woman to hold both RAW and SmackDown Women's Championships simultaneously to becoming the face of WWE 2K20 video game, Lynch has proven that she is indeed the man in WWE.

However, her Triple Threat match at Survivor Series against Shayna Baszler and Bayley did not go according to plan as it was NXT Women's Champion Baszler who managed to win the match.

Cagesideseats has stated that Shayna Baszler is being groomed for Becky Lynch:

They (WON) also say the original plan for Shayna Baszler going into Survivor Series was to groom her for Becky Lynch and have her on the main roster in 2020.

Main roster call-up for Bayszler?

Shayna Baszler has had one of the most dominant runs in NXT as the Women's Champion and has proven time and again that no other Superstar in NXT can hold a candle to her. By winning at Survivor Series, the Queen of Spades also proved that she is as good, if not better to the main roster Champions as she managed to defeat two of the biggest female Superstars in WWE today - Bayley and Becky Lynch.

There had been some reports suggesting that WWE was looking to put Baszler on the main roster this year itself but had held their plans to keep Baszler and her star power on NXT for the time being to compete with AEW.

With Rhea Ripley posing a serious threat to Shayna's run as the NXT Women's Champion, the possibility of her moving to the main roster next year and feuding with Becky Lynch is very high.
