What's the story?

According to Slice Wrestling, The Undertaker might be returning in the American Badass gimmick with a choice of either facing Kurt Angle or Elias at WrestleMania 35.

In case you didn't know...

The Undertaker is not slated to have a match at WrestleMania 35. As of right now, his appearance at the showcase of the immortals is a mystery to the WWE Universe. But Undertaker has never missed WrestleMania since 2000. His appearance at the event is part of the allure of WrestleMania.

When The Undertaker returned from injury in 2000, he shocked the WWE fans with the biker gimmick. Gone were the druids and prince of darkness, he was now The American Badass. Chris Jericho has called The Undertaker the ''Madonna" of the wrestling business because of his ability to transform and evolve his character over time.

The Undertaker practically changed his style and mannerisms. It was a total makeover. The Undertaker went as far to provide a new finishing maneuver in the form of The Last Ride, A High-rise powerbomb.

While he eventually returned to the darkness, he still continued to be a very prominent entity with the WWE locker room and commanding the respect of other WWE Superstars.

The heart of the matter

As reported, The Undertaker has reportedly gone to Vince McMahon and proposed to Vince McMahon to return as the American Bad Ass.

The Undertaker has pitched ideas to WWE to return at WrestleMania 35 possibly as the "American Badass/DeadMan INC" against Kurt Angle or Elias. Vince McMahon will make the final decision on these plans.

A return to Deadman Inc would certainly catch the WWE fans off guard. The Undertaker has proven time and again that he can change with the times and doing something unexpected is something Vince McMahon loves to do. As most in the WWE Universe will know, Vince McMahon loves to play with his toes and at the end of the day, He will be the decider.

What's next?

The Undertaker's appearance at WrestleMania 35 is still up in the air. Stay Tuned!
