WWE Rumors: Vin Diesel believes he can beat The Rock in a fight

It doesn't matter what you think!

Diesel claims that he could “flex” The Rock

What’s the story?

As reported by TMZ Sports, Fast & Furious actor Vin Diesel has supposedly stated that he believes he could defeat Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in a real-life fight. The story was broken during an interview with UFC Champion Tyron Woodley who has just kick started his own acting career.

In case you didn’t know...

The reported feud between The Rock and Vin Diesel has been making headlines for well over a year now, with many people believing that the two men genuinely dislike each other. The beef apparently stems from the fact that both men want to assume the lead control of the Fast & Furious franchise. However, the latest developments have suggested that the problem between the two men has been resolved.

The Heart of the matter

The aforementioned Woodley said that he ran into Diesel during the after party for the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 premiere. Apparently, Vin Diesel took offence to Woodley thinking that Rock would come out on top during a fight between the two, with Diesel claiming that he would “flex” on Johnson – likely meaning that he believes he would defeat him.

What’s next?

It wouldn’t be surprising to see Rock retaliate to these claims, especially given how active he is on social media. If the feud between the two has indeed been squashed, then Rock responding to Vin Diesel would go a long way to helping fans believe that they’re just messing around. If he doesn’t, then the rumours will likely continue.

Author’s take

In all honesty, the whole situation is a little annoying now, as the closest we’d ever get to a fight between the two is probably inside of a WWE ring. This ‘feud’ does nothing for both men, and if the reports are accurate and things between them have been resolved, it’s the best outcome for everyone involved. Seriously, just move on with your multi-millionaire lives.
