What's the story?

Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey have been involved in a Twitter war as of late which has blurred the lines between what is real and what is kayfabe.

The two Superstars have taken dig after dig at one another, even getting personal at many times.

It has been reported by WrestleVotes(via Cagesideseats.com), that the WWE brass is certainly not thrilled with some of the wording used.

In case you didn't know...

Ronda Rousey and Becky Lynch have been involved in a feud ever since Lynch attacked Rousey on the RAW prior to Survivor Series. Even though the scheduled match between the two could not take place at the time, the rivalry was re-ignited when The Man won the 2019 Women's Royal Rumble and decided to face Ronda Rousey at Wrestlemania 35.

Due to reckless behavior, Lynch got handed a 60-day suspension by Vince McMahon, losing her Championship opportunity at Wrestlemania, being replaced by Charlotte Flair.

Lynch made an appearance on RAW this past week attacking Ronda Rousey, setting in motion this Twitter war between the two.

The heart of the matter

While many reports claim that the WWE officials are unhappy with the words used in this social media battle, Dave Meltzer of WON has stated “nobody is doing anything not approved or agreed to” and “it’s what those in charge are looking for.”

It could be possible that it is indeed all a work and WWE are well aware of what is going on.

What's next?

Wrestlemania 35 will take place on April 7, 2019, at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, and will be main evented by the RAW Women's Championship match featuring Ronda Rousey, Charlotte Flair and possibly Becky Lynch.

Do you think the on-going Twitter war is planned by WWE or is it a case of Superstars getting too personal? Tell us in the comments!
