The Draft might be back next year

While on hand, the WWE Draft had some very surprising moments such as Finn Balor being one of the top draft picks and The club splitting up, it also left many people complaining that the show was not as exciting as it should have been.If you are also one of those fans who are disappointed because the Draft didn't live up to its hype, then you can calm down, because the latest rumors suggest that WWE is planning to hold a draft every year following the brand split.Allwrestlingnews.com reports that current plans are to hold the Draft each year to keep the content fresh on weekly programming and create new opportunities.Although it's not known yet how WWE is planning to execute the Draft or which show will have the privilege of hosting the annual event. Still, there is rich history available for the company to develop a system for holding the event. It's notable here that WWE has held a total of 10 drafts ever since they introduced SmackDown as their second weekly show back in 2002. The last draft before this year happened back in 2011. After it, WWE decided to combine the rosters of both shows into one thus making the concept of the Draft irrelevant.
