What's the story?

Roman Reigns returned to RAW last week and got a massive reaction from the fans in Atalanta, Georgia. This was one of the most emotional returns in WWE history and despite the massive reaction, eWrestlingNews are reporting that those backstage are a little worried about Roman.

In case you didn't know...

Roman Reigns' RAW return saw him reunited with his brother from The Shield, Seth Rollins. Later on in the night, Rollins and Reigns came out to save Dean Ambrose from a beatdown at the hands of Elias, Bobby Lashley, Drew McIntyre and Baron Corbin.

Rollins and Reigns walked away afterwards as Ambrose stood up in the middle of the ring and it looks like we could be seeing The Shield reunite once more soon. At the very least, WWE did hint at it.

The heart of the matter

According to a report from eWrestlingNews, WWE officials backstage are a little worried about Roman Reigns getting booed as the top babyface once again. This is what their source said:

“As far as what is next. Nobody can predict the future and many people feel things will eventually revert to being what they were before, with Reigns as the top babyface being constantly booed on television shoots.“

WWE will definitely have to handle Roman Reigns a little delicately and not thrust him back to the top of the card immediately. If WWE handles this right, Reigns can finally become a universally loved babyface.

What's next?

At this point, we don't know what is next for Roman Reigns although we do know that he's already started training for his return. As for Seth Rollins, he will challenge WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania in arguably the biggest match of his career.
