WWE Rumour Mill: 5 huge post-Hell In A Cell plans

Rey Mysterio

As of late, the WWE has been buzzing quite a lot with rumours and speculations going around and, after Hell in a Cell pay-per-view, a good number of them are expected to become reality.

Quite a few returns, face-heel turns, and brand swaps appear to be on the cards.

Though Hell In A Cell is still two weeks away, it never hurts to take a glimpse into the future and anticipate what could transpire further in the crazy world of wrestling.

So without further ado, I present to you '5 huge post-Hell In A Cell plans'.

5. Kevin Owens's return to SmackDown as the new 'Paul Heyman Guy'

Owens is rumoured to be the next Paul Heyman Guy.

On the last edition of Monday Night Raw, Kevin Owens shocked the WWE universe by quitting the promotion.

Since then, the internet has been abuzz with rumours of him returning as the next 'Paul Heyman Guy' but to SmackDown, instead of Raw, for a change.

Drafting him to the Blue Brand totally makes sense in an effort to increase SmackDown's viewership and rejuvenate Owens's career simultaneously.

4. Big Show's comeback to WWE

The giant is rumoured to return
The Giant might be looking for another run in WWE.

Big Show has been out of action for over a year now but, if rumours are to be believed, he was present backstage on the last Raw show. Thus, a potential return of the giant is not a far possibility.

It will be quite interesting to see on which brand he features and in what role. However, a major push looks highly unlikely.

3. Braun Strowman becomes a temporary heel

Strowman could turn heel during his match at HIAC

The last edition of Raw saw Braun Strowman ditching his partner Roman Reigns to help the villainous team of the Show-Off Dolph Ziggler and the Scottish Psychopath Drew McIntyre. With WWE pushing the Big Dog as a face champion, a heel turn for Strowman would be reasonable.

At the moment, the 'Monster Among Men' is scheduled to clash with Reigns for his Universal title, at HIAC, which promises to be worth the wait.

2. Samoa Joe joins Raw

It looks unlikely as of now
Although a far-fetched one, Joe's brand swap could still be a potential angle.

If gossips are to be believed, Samoa Joe could move to performing on Monday nights after HIAC. Though this particular speculation has been creating a lot of buzz recently, Joe's Raw debut looks highly unlikely, all things considered.

As of now, the Samoan is scheduled to grapple with WWE Champion AJ Styles, at HIAC, in what promises to be an epic encounter.

1. Rey Mysterio's long-awaited return to WWE

This could be blockbuster
Rey's return could do wonders for Vince's company.

Rey Mysterio made a one-off appearance at the Greatest Royal Rumble, in Saudi Arabia, earlier this year. And, according to sources, he has signed a 2-year contract with WWE which starts from September 2018.

Thus, a possible return after HIAC is a huge possibility. It would be interesting to see what the WWE Creative has in store for him this time.
