Popular wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer has claimed in one of his tweets that the WWE have plans to get Kurt Angle to wrestle again provided he can pass the physical. Below is the tweet posted by Dave Meltzer:
In case you didn’t know…
Angle’s return to the WWE after a gap of 11 years came about when he was named one of the inductees into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2017 in January this year. During the ceremony which was held on 31 March 2017 at the Amway Center in Orlando, superstar John Cena inducted Kurt into the Hall of Fame.
On the post-WrestleMania episode of Raw, WWE Chairman Vince McMahon named ‘The Wrestling Machine’ as the new general manager of the show.
The heart of the matter
A fan questioned Meltzer about whether there was a possibility of Kurt Angle wrestling in the WWE again or if he would only be a GM. In response, he tweeted that there are plans for Angle to wrestle if he is able to pass the company’s physical.
‘The Only Olympic Gold Medalist in Pro Wrestling History’ was last seen in wrestling action on the independent circuit early last month. He appeared for a promotion named Northeast Wrestling on 3 March in Connecticut and faced off against former WWE superstar Cody Rhodes in a steel cage match that he lost.
Considering that Angle has been engaged in in-ring competition not too long ago, one can be positive that he will be able to clear the WWE physical without too much trouble.
What next?
At present, Kurt Angle’s focus will be on doing his job as the new Raw GM well and roping in the finest talent on the WWE roster to the show during the Superstar Shakeup which takes place this Monday.

It is pretty evident that the WWE didn’t just bring Kurt Angle back to make him the general manager of Raw. They certainly want him to wrestle again and add more firepower to their already rich pool of superstars.
