The news of Orlando hosting WWE WrestleMania 33 had barely done the rounds when a rumour that Philadelphia might host it in 2018 started creeping around the interwebs. There might be some credence to that as multiple sources suggest that the fighting city has made aggressive bids to host the wrestling extravaganza.

Another hat seems to have been thrown in the ring, according to reports from cagesideseats.com, one that would make the fan who reacted to the Undertaker’s streak being broken seem like his eyelids are droopy.

London. Yes, London. Evidence? This tweet from Boris Johnson, the Mayor of London, in reply to a question from most likely, a Londonder:

How WWE is ruining John Cena's retirement - Check out now!

Though a snarky, condescending reply that is typical of the elitism that Johnson has been accused of, it nonetheless brings up the fantastic concept of WrestleMania travelling to foreign shores. On one hand, you have the global steamroller that the WWE is; on the other, more convincingly, the absolute fact that it does not need to explore other markets.

Johnson is nearing the end of his second term as Mayor of London and has publicized that he will not seek another term in office.
