WWE Rumours: Potential WWE Draft date revealed?
At last, there is something to chew upon.
Ever since the brand split has been announced, WWE Universe has been eagerly waiting for one thing to occur – WWE Draft. The surprise element and the anticipation of which Superstars will go to which brand has cemented the draft as one of the most intriguing events in WWE history. Now with WWE going ahead with the brand split, it is high time that the draft was brought back.
Cagesideseats reports that Ryan Stan of Pro Wrestling Sheet has noted on his Twitter that a “Solid Source” has hinted him that the draft would take place on July 18th episode of Raw. In short, this would be just one day before the brand split comes into effect which makes it much more believable.
But, as we all know how mercurial WWE plans are, it is not safe to bank upon that. WWE may indeed choose to conduct a draft a week prior to that and build up some animosity between the Superstars on the go home edition before the brand split.
With just a month left for the eventual brand split, there has been no indication of who will be heading to which brand. Few rumors about top stars heading to different brands are already in rounds, but in all likelihood, we can’t know for sure who is going where. This makes this draft all the more interesting.
