WWE Rumours: WWE to release documentary based on Brand Split

The Brand Split is sure to attract many eyeballs

If the buzz surrounding the upcoming Draft hasn’t yet captured the imagination of WWE fans, then it certainly isn’t for the want of trying.

Adding to the rumours about potential call-ups, returns and considerable product restructuring, it is also believed that the WWE is working on filming scenes for a documentary that will air as a WWE Network special after the Draft, reports Cagesideseats.com.

The WWE over the last few years, has slowly but surely made a transition from a pro-wrestling company to a digital media powerhouse with the advent of the Network and all the content that is available to fans through it.

A documentary bearing inside scoops and detailing the history of the Brand Split, the Draft and everything else to do with it sounds like just the thing that the company would be working on to make the event stand out even more as an extravaganza.

The WWE draft will commence on the July 19th (July 20th for Indian viewers) episode of SmackDown, when the “B-show” looks to make the step up to equal footing with Raw by going Live.
