This week’s Saturday Morning Slam show featured the ‘Celtic Warrior’ Sheamus and had a new time slot. Booker T and Josh Mathews were in the announcers booth. Here are the results in brief:
Match 1:
Natalya defeated Alicia Fox in a singles match. Natalya locked in the sharpshooter on Fox to get the victory via submission.
A video package was aired about Sheamus’ title reign in 2012. The Celtic Warrior came out and cut a promo about his love to fight and his desire to win the title back.
Match 2:
Sheamus defeated Michael McGillicutty in a singles match. This match had a funny end to it as McGillicutty thought he won it after rolling up the referee. Sheamus brought him back to his senses after hitting the white noise to get the pinfall victory.
At the end of the show, The Miz and Prime Time Player were involved in a segment promoting next’s week’s main event in WWE Saturday Morning Slam – The Miz vs Darren Young.
